School Wide Positive Behaviours (SWPBS)

At Broadmeadows Valley Primary School we implement School Wide Positive Behaviours. SWPBS is a framework that promotes expected behaviours within the school setting. Below is the BVPS Expected Behaviours matrix that is used by staff and students to teach and reinforce expected behaviours across all areas.

Broady Bucks 

Our school wide reinforcement system, Broady Bucks  is a way to celebrate and promote expected, appropriate and wanted behaviour. These behaviours include: 

• Being respectful
• Keeping yourself and others safe
• Putting in a high effort and using learning dispositions
• Using our school learning values
• Being resilient and using strategies to support emotions

Students will be given a Broady Buck by staff when they demonstrate an expected behaviour. Students can accumulate their money to spend at the Borady Bucks Shop throughout the term.
