Principal's Message

Julie Andrews - BVPS Acting Principal

We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We pay our respects to all First Nations elders, past present and emerging.

What a wonderful first term we have had! Hard to believe it is over already! I would like to congratulate all the students on the effort they have put into their learning, as shown by the excellent results on their end of term testing. I would also like to say a special note of congratulations to Alizey Alam and Nafesa Miaji for being nominated for the Victorian High Ability Program. The Victorian High-Ability program provides up to 48,000 high-ability students in Years 5 to 8 at government schools the opportunity to participate in 10-week online extension and enrichment programs, in English and mathematics. Our students were chosen for their excellence in English.

And last but not least, a big thank you to our wonderful staff! I have been getting a lot of positive feedback from parents on what a great job they are doing.

Have a safe and happy holiday and take care of yourself.

Julie Andrews

Acting Principal
