Dear parents and carers,
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Acting Principal of Broadmeadows Valley Primary School for term 1, 2022. Over the past 20 years, I have dedicated my life to education through various roles such as a classroom teacher, Assistant Principal and Sub-School Principal. I am thrilled to bring my skills as an educational leader to Broadmeadows Valley and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
As Principal, I will work hard to continue to have strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. We will ensure that we deliver a rich curriculum delivered by passionate teachers and leaders. I am committed to ensuring that student needs and interests help shape curriculum. I believe that students are at the centre of all school-related decisions. I am excited to bring my experience, my openness to learn, and my child-centred approach to support our students.
An excellent education is not possible without the great collaboration of students, parents and staff. The relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students. As your Acting Principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors, teachers, students and parents/carers, are excited to be here. This attitude will enable us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment.
My door is always open, and I welcome your input.
Lastly, I want to thank the community for making me feel so welcome. Thank you for having me in your lovely school!
Sincerely,
Julie Andrews
