The Broadmeadows Valley Primary School Rock band recently participated in the NWVR’s School Of Rock Event.  23 dedicated students from grades 4-6 learn drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and singing and practiced very hard in the lead up to the event. They had the opportunity to perform in front of hundreds of students from other schools across the region and played great versions of the songs ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ by Taylor Swift, ‘Diamonds’ by Rhianna  and ‘Seven Nation Army’ by The White Stripes. Everyone involved put in a great performance which showcased the wonderful talent at our school. The BVPS Rock Band are now busy learning some new songs to add to their repertoire in preparation for performances later in the year.
