Hello everyone,

As we begin another week of self-isolation it’s great to see the sun shining today out of my window. The school environment has been maintained and we have had the trees shaped and branches cut. The gardener has been in to tend to the weeds and the other plants, ready for when we are all here to enjoy our beautiful school again.

I hope this communication finds you all healthy and managing as best as can be expected. I have been thrilled to hear of the stories from our families who have set up ‘schools’ in their homes to provide their children with an effective learning environment. I want to sincerely thank you for your efforts, and we want you to know how appreciative we are of this.

The phone contact between our staff and your families continues to provide a positive feeling for all. Being in contact one way or another ensures that the relationship we have with each other lasts and is not forgotten during this time.

Everyone here is working feverishly to set up the distribution of electronic devices to our families who need them. We will begin the roll out of devices beginning with Learning Neighbourhood 3 and working our way to Learning Neighbourhood 1.

PLEASE PLEASE be patient. There is a huge amount of work that needs to take place here at school before the devices are ready to be handed out to families. Families who have indicated that they need a device will be receiving calls from their teachers in relation to this.

Keep healthy, and don’t hesitate to let us know if there is anything, we can do to support you further.

Regards

Carmela
